Larry Lyday has proudly called Southern Illinois home for decades and has spent much of his life investing in the Mount Vernon community. From serving with Habitat for Humanity and the Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce to coaching youth baseball and cheering on the Mount Vernon Rams, Larry believes strongly in supporting the people and organizations that make this community special.
Outside of his community involvement, Larry is a husband, father, and proud “Poppy” to two grandchildren. He and his wife, Karen, have been married for more than 40 years. For Larry, one of life’s greatest rewards is building relationships that last for generations.
